Quiet efficient heating

We purchased this unit for the garage and hurricane backup, have used it in my garage multiple times and even though I have not had a chance to insulate my garage door or attic it cools the 440sq ft space with ease, the remote functions very well and the unit Is very quiet extremely happy with the purchase thank you Frigidaire!

I purchased this unit to help cool my upstairs bedroom and hopefully save some money on electricity as it would put less strain on my central air. But thats not how this will work.I plugged in the unit and when the room came to the set temperature, the condenser shut off, but not the fan. The fan NEVER turns off. I spoke with Frigidaire customer service for two weeks and each time, I was assured that the fan should be shutting off. Then one of the people there actually checked, and he said that it will not ever shut off as it continually samples the air.Unfortunately for me, I was now outside of the return policy window and I am stuck with the unit that will not save me any money.I would not recommend anyone purchase this unit unless they plan to turn it on when its needed and turn it off when its not; would work perfectly in a garage or closed porch that is rarely used. I was looking for a unit that could keep a room cool all summer and this is not it.

Both the a/c and the heat work very well in my 636 square foot apartment. But the exhaust hose! Over and over it falls out at one end the minute it's secured at the other end. A really terrible design by whoever designed it. I cannot understand how Frigidaire has inflicted such an annoyingly flimsy design on such an important part. The exhaust hose connections should be rock solid. Just a few clicks and you should be done. Not 45 minutes of torture trying to make flimsy connections stay in place! I have no complaints whatsoever about the a/c and the heat. The a/c delivers extremely cold air and does so very forcefully when its set on high. The cold air measured 45 degrees Fahrenheit which is colder than I get from my central air. The heat works just as well. It measured 90 degrees Fahrenheit so again, no complaints. If Frigidaire had only designed a rock solid exhaust hose instead of the flimsy one I™™d rate it 10 stars if I could.

I bought this product 8 months ago and used it for about 25 hours(AC only).I find it noisy and most of it, I hate the 2 hose attachements:they won't connect properly and stay in place:Even dock tape won't hold the hose..... (Hope the One who invented that connection type NEVER GOT A BONUS).Apart from that, I am satisfied.

I manage the facilities for a private elementary school. I purchased 15 of these units to use in the classrooms. At 700 Sq. Ft. and 12 Ft. ceilings, they work amazingly well. The building is usually like a brick oven during the summer months and is very comfortable now.

I have a large apartment which includes a living room dining room combination of approximately 10,000 cubic feet, I am unable to leave a large window AC in place year round, and removal and storage have become a terrible problem. Your 14,000 BTU potable cools the entire area and can remain in place year around.
