I set the mode to auto dry for cooling and dehumidifying conditions and the unit maintains temperatures to its setting of 73 degrees. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I™™ve only had it about a month. The only 2 complaints I have is operation and manual. Once you read the manual and play with the features you kinda get it. But always stays cold good build quality for the money. And second, the beep noise when pressing the buttons is kinda loud. I know that™™s it. Maybe a feature in the future is to tone the volume down on the beep. Or to turn it off.

At it's best, just installed, this is a NOISY AC unit. The fan roars even on the lowest setting. But the really bad development is that after only a few days of use, the compressor is now making grinding sounds. Our next heat wave is in about 24 hours. If the compressor is still sounding bad, I'll have to see if Frigidaire really does stand behind their warranty and will send a repairman out. If they don't, this was an expensive waste of money, because I'm an old lady who can't lift the thing out of the window and bring it anywhere to either return it, or repair it.

When I purchased the Frigidare AC, I wasn't sure the 6,000 BTU's were strong enough for my bedroom. I was surprised by the power of this little AC. It is super strong and love all of the remote control features. Easy to install, not bulky and not heavy for ladies to lift. :)

I invested in two of these models. Simple set up. Easy navigation. Covers close to 600 sq ft with a ceiling fan to circulate cool air. The lights mode is a plus for bed time. I find it a bit louder than my previous A/C, when on high. The low option is my go to choice. Overall, a very good Air Conditioner. (4.5 Stars)

I'm used to window AC blowers running continuously, with only the refrigeration system cycling on and off as needed. The "Eco" mode on this unit operates differently, and when I first experienced the entire system shutting down, seemingly at random, I thought it was probably "short-cycling" ... a common refrig system fault. Just before deciding to pack it up and return it, I decided to read the user manual more carefully ... finding that everything seemed to be working exactly as described ... and how to operated sans the "Eco" mode, if desired. We've been enjoying the unit ever since ... proving yet again, that it helps to read the instructions. :-)

I really like this air conditioner. It's really small and easy to install. It cools my room down well enough and it has a bunch of cool features, like dehumidifier and eco mode. My only con is that it's very loud. The fan speeds are so loud that I keep it on low all the time. The compressor kicking on really shakes the wall, too. I've gotten complaints that this was the case.

I just bought this brand new this week.After using it for several days, im not impressedTheres a review that said it took 3.5 hours to drop 4 or so degree..I can confirm this AC is. Total joke It says its 6,000 btu, but it certainly doupesnt have that much power. I put this on while there was no heatwave yet to get a gander and see how will it works..Right now its 67 degrees after raining all day. My ac started at 74 and and after 4 hours is at 69 Shouldnt take this long to cool down. What happens when its90 degrees out? Product will be lucky to cool room down a few degrees

I bought this 3 months ago and never really cooled the room down and room was about 170 sq.ft. and the it just stopped working, replacement was just a bad with temperature reading not correct and it was load. Ended up buying a different ac from a different manufacturer and it works great new unit smaller, quite and cools room perfectly.
