Bought the frig first of December, moved to new house on 12-31-2024, soooo I have only used the frig for a few days. I™€™m not thrilled with the bottom deli tray as it takes away from the larger shelf on the right side of door for milk jugs. The space is available higher up on the door, but those gallon containers are heavy.

So far we have only had it one day but it's working great and we love the power boost button for freezing the food quickly and boosting the temp up in the refrig. area since we had just plugged it in for the first time! Like the dual ice but once we make sure that the party ice bucket works we will turn the button to the off position until we need it. Love the sleek design and the handles look awesome because they cast off a mirror look to them. Fingers crossed it will last 12 years like my Sears Kenmore did!

A few short comings

Model GRFC2353AF: 1) water dispenser drips after use, 2) control panel dark, impossible to see in the dark, 3) both doors must be open to pull open the right drawer, 4) drawers open half way, 5) there is a slam sound when water dispenser stops. The ice maker inside the refrig and in the door takes up a lot of room. I should have bought a unit with different freezer with 2 shallow drawers to hold the smaller items. This has 1 and the bottom is deep where the smaller items can get buried and lost.

Freezer seal not installed properly

The freezer was accumulating much frost and ice. Upon inspection, it was noted that the seal attached to the freezer drawer was not installed properly so the drawer did not make an air tight seal to the body of the refrigerator. Took a long time to arrange for an on warranty repair. The refrigerator should have been inspected at the factory. Ridiculous to have to repair a new appliance upon delivery. If it were smaller, I would take it back to Lowe's. I hope this is the only thing wrong with the refrigerator.

Nice fridge overall. Freezer drawer is my only downside seems to have brackets for dividers that didn™€™t come with it. It also doesn™€™t have the long narrow shelf along the inside of the drawer door which was disappointing. I called customer service and this model doesn™€™t come with those despite having brackets for them. Also, fridge crisper drawers don™€™t open all the way and you have to open both front doors to get in the right hand drawer™€¦ our last fridge didn™€™t require both doors to be open.
