After much searching for a good machine and good price, I decided on this Whirlpool. I did not realize that energy efficient meant so little water. What a waist of tub use if only half is filled. It seems to me that it is redundant in the efficiency terms, since it will take more loads to wash fewer clothes. So in the long run I'm using more electricity for more loads since I can't fill up the tub with more laundry. The agitator is fabulous and the dryer is great. At least I can wait till there are enough clothes for a full dryer load.

Not satisified 11/14/2017

I bought this two weeks ago. It came with the dryer not working. Whirlpool sent someone right away so the problem is not their service. The agitator is the worse. You can only do 1/4 of a load. The washer doesn't fill with much water as it is energy efficient. The clothes on the top just sit there and don't get pulled under to wash. I have had clothes come up still smelly and dirt and stains still visible. These washed out easily by hand so it is a problem with the washing machine. If you do the prewash and run them through the wash cycle twice or push them by hand and use 1/4 load you can get your wash clean. Not sure how energy efficient that is!
