Wife & I went shopping for replacement washer/dryer end of June 2023. Went first to Sterling Appliance and was immediately attended to by Ryan P., who walked us efficiently through options available in the store. Discovered that our townhouse washer/dryer location (upstairs) was too small too accommodate some newer front-loader options, so we assessed the Speed Queen (SQ) commercial washer/dryer pairs which would fit our space. Purchased the SQ 7000-series washer/dryer pair which included about every option we could imagine, including steam refresh in the dryer, multiple pre-programmed cycles in both the washer and dryer, and a 7-year full warranty. Installation was scheduled for about a week out and went like clockwork with installers explaining both machine operation and care as part of their customer service install-package. After five months regular use, we continue to be 100% satisfied with the machines we chose. (About one-month in, I asked my wife whether she was satisfied with our purchase: "I never thought I would be excited about purchasing a new washer/dryer, but these things are awesome: everything works as advertised, and I love the steam refresh option in the dryer!" Highly recommend both the washer/dryer package we chose and the excellent service we received from Sterling Appliance!

If you need any kind of appliance, buy it at Sterling Appliance in the shopping center at Dranesville Road and Route 7 just inside Loudoun County VA. I have bought from the the Speed Queen washer and dryer, and the Bosch dishwasher, both built like tanks, spend the money, you won't regret it, the Speed Queens are wonderful, industrial quality. The Sterling Appliance gals and guys know what they are doing, just a no brainer.

My washer door fell off Monday night, and I have a house-full of company arriving today! Sterling Appliance had the new washer and a cancellation for today -- and they worked the installation so I could be first since I have a family memorial event this morning. Jose and Ivan installed the new machine, and they were wonderful. They were prompt, professional, personable, and got the job done right. I really appreciate Jose and Ivan, and also Andre at the store, for everything they did to get me back up and running so quickly.

I purchased an LG washer/dryer tower from Sterling Appliance in the Sterling store about 3 weeks ago. I knew that the removal of my existing washer/dryer and the installation of the new tower would be a difficult installation. I showed Andre (sales associate) pictures of the hallway closet where the washer/dryer “resided” and he quickly assured me all would go well and their installers were very adapt at problematic installations. Andre was very patient with me and my concerns, helped me find the best unit for my situation, and gave me a very reasonable price. The installers arrived today, observed the situation, and assured me they would get the old unit out and the new tower in with minimal difficulty. Jose and his team were incredible! I was expecting some drywall damage but there was none! With incredible patience and skill, they made sure that everything was done to my satisfaction and did not rush through the job. I was very pleased, thanked the team profusely, and immediately called the store to express my gratitude. Job well done by everyone! Please consider Sterling Appliance for your next purchase…I highly recommend them!

After our Kenmore refrigerator broke down and Sears Home Services gave us an eight-hour arrival window for their technician and then stood us up, we called Sterling Appliance. Gideon, their technician was excellent. He quickly determined the problem to be the compressor and answered all our questions about what the repair would require. Instead of just selling us a replacement and repair, he let us know the old compressor was still covered under Sears warranty. Unfortunately, we wasted another day waiting for a Sears technician who declined to honor the warranty despite the fact that Sears’ own records provided proof the compressor was under warranty. To top it off the Sears technician wanted to charge us an amount several hundred dollars more than what Gideon had suggested the replacement and repair should cost. We called back to Sterling Appliance and spoke to John, who quickly arranged for Gideon to return and repair our fridge. Gideon arrived on time and did an expert and thorough job of cleaning out the condenser coil, replacing the compressor, and updating the electronics to work with the new compressor – all for a price significantly lower than the one we were quoted by Sears. We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Gideon and John of Sterling Appliance. Should we need any appliance repairs in the future, we will call them first. We would recommend Sterling Appliance to anyone else in need of appliance service and repair.

Sterling Appliance was recommended to me by my sister-in-law. They were so easy and quick to work with! a brand new washing machine arrived within a week. Great communication about the delivery time which was also quick and seamless delivery. Jose was absolutely wonderful and so very kind, he also pointed out a small leak in main plumbing that connects to the washing machine that I need to get fixed. I'm so grateful! Will definitely use them again.

This is the first time that I’ve use Sterling appliance, and I’m extremely pleased. My oven needed a massive cleanup as I accidentally set it on fire a few years ago and doused the entire oven with baking soda. My technician was Gideon and he did an excellent job. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He gave me several tips regarding using my oven that I was not aware of which was very helpful to know. Should I ever require service with any of my appliances, sterling appliance will be my first and only contact. I also plan on recommending them to my friends.

We bought a GE range from Sterling Appliance in July. They were clear and transparent throughout the process, and while prices were equitable to big box stores, the installation and customer service were top notch. We had an issue with the first one installed (manufacturer defect), and they arranged a new delivery quickly. The following 2 deliveries were unsuccessful, but only due to manufacturer error (using forklift and damaging the stove before it was even out of the box). The installers (who also hook up the gas and don’t need to have a second team come out - major plus for Sterling Appliance) were quick to point out what they saw before bringing the stove into our home each time and called the store directly for us. Sales and installation teams were friendly and professional. I received a perfectly new stove without defect or damage today. The team instructed me on how to prep my oven and set the time for me. I’m happy with my range and with the company. Go local!

Sterling Appliance replaced my stovetop in 2021 and double ovens in 2022! They will always be my first stop for appliances because they are professional, timely, and do good work. The stovetop required adaptation for propane & the double oven required that they cut cabinets to fit in the larger oven. They didn’t even leave a mess!

Sterling Appliance was super helpful, very responsive and able to come out within 24 hours of me calling. Their technicians, Gidian and another kind gentleman, were super professional and friendly. They came on time and went above and beyond to try to help me. I unfortunately had to replace my dryer and Richard, their sales representative, was able to immediately order the best option for me and will have it install it next week. As a mom of 4 kids, not having a working dryer is not fun and I really appreciate how well they treated me and gave me the best option to fit my budget. The staff in the showroom were very helpful in getting us the right sizes for our home and made 3 deliveries when the products were not available at the same time. Due to the 3 deliveries, we got to know Jose who did a great job of installation and took extra care in getting all the large appliances in and out of the house. Jose and crew came to deliver and install my new LG Washtower! Jose went above and beyond to make sure I was completely happy with the way it fit in my condo's tiny laundry closet. My old unit was approximately the same dimensions but stuck out in the hallway a good few inches. Thanks to Jose, the unit now fits all the way back and looks amazing! I am so glad I went with Sterling Appliance rather than the big box I used last time. Service is excellent!

Sterling Appliance was up front from the beginning of our purchase that while the fridge says it should be in a couple of weeks it may not with the supply chain issues. We were willing to take the risk and it ended up taking a long time for the fridge to arrive. Throughout the wait, Sean regularly connected with us to provide an update, offer alternative options and help us with a contingency plan if our basement (and back up fridge) died.

Our experience in purchasing a washer-dryer combination from Sterling Appliance was absolutely superb. Placing the order was seamless--a combination of online and phone transactions due to COVID. The units were delivered promptly. The installers were highly skilled and very efficient--it seemed as if their every move was choreographed, no wasted motion. Unfortunately, the washer had a leak. Sterling sent out a technician to assess the problem. That in itself was a great experience. Not only was he highly competent, but he was also extremely personable. He determined that the problem was a manufacturing fault. Within a week, we had a new unit--also installed by a fast and efficient team. We will continue to buy from Sterling Appliances.

We recently purchased a new Maytag dryer from Sterling Appliance. Unfortunately, within less than a week the dryer kept experiencing issues. Sterling appliance could've easily instructed us to contact Maytag given that our dryer was covered under factory warranty. However, when we called and explained the issue they immediately worked to find us a new dryer and replaced the faulty one the next business day. Overall, the customer service provided by Shawn and the folks at Sterling Appliance was second to none. Again, the malfunctioning dryer was Maytag's fault and they could have easily deflected the blame - but they didn't. Sterling Appliance corrected the issue. Its that kind of "treat your customers like family" mentality that has ensured we will be returning customers.

This is the first time we've shopped at Sterling Appliance - we chose to give this local shop our business over the big box stores. The entire experience deserves a 5+ Star rating!! My husband purchased our new gas oven - Sean (one of the owners) was really helpful and made the buying process quick & seamless. They had the gas oven we wanted in stock and scheduled our delivery within the week! The drivers arrived on time and even provided me with a 1/2 call ahead. The two gentleman wore masks and were very efficient in uninstalling old oven, installing new and hauling away our old gas oven. They removed all of the packaging and were in & out within a 1/2 hour. We will definitely recommend Sterling Appliance to our friends & coworkers!!

Purchased a replacement refrigerator door for a GE Profile side by side. Door arrived, installation was delayed because GE changed how the handle was attached. John and Nick went above and beyond to locate the appropriate screws- that couldn't be obtained by normal methods. After several weeks, I had the door replacement completed yesterday. She was very helpful in assisting me with the selection and purchase of a stackable unit the would fit in a constrained laundry space. The installer was equally outstanding. He was very meticulous in his work and took great care in installing the unit in expert fashion. About a week after buying new appliances for my home, I noticed a dent in the freezer door. I am not sure if it was always there or if it was caused by one of my children. When I called Sterling Appliance to order a replacement door, they stated they would fix it free of charge, despite me not knowing when the dent occurred. This company provides excellent customer service and I would highly recommend them.

Really happy with my experience. I ordered a new range and spoke with their salesman. He was really helpful and knowledgeable. On the day that my range was delivered I was surprised that my salesman, was also one of my installers, but it makes sense since he knew so much about the product. They installed the range very quickly and I was cooking in no time. I'm planning on slowly remodeling my kitchen and I'll be sure to get all my appliances from Sterling Appliance. Thanks so much!

Had a leaky bottom freezer drawer on my KitchenAid refrigerator. The service was set up quickly and the technician, diagnosed and repaired the problem quickly. He was very nice and professional.
